Okay friends, it’s the time of year to find the ugliest Christmas sweater known to man and wear it in public with pride. Saturday, December 23rd, dress in the tackiest sweater you can find and head to Tradition Brewing Company.
Dance the night away to the sounds of Hey Hey Hooligan and enjoy dinner by The German Snack Shack food truck. Cover is $5 and will begin at 5.30pm. Hey Hey Hooligan will play at 6.30pm. All ages are welcome. Cheers!

Saturday, December 2nd, head out to Colonial Williamsburg for the highly anticipated Christmas Parade.
Enjoy over 100 floats, marching bands and characters trailing down Richmond Road in celebration of the Holidays. The parade will go through Merchants Square onto Henry Street and end at the corner of Henry and Francis Streets.
This year’s theme is “winter wonderland,” and will feature special guests, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause. The parade will begin at 8am with streets closing promptly at 7.30am.

The 14th annual Hollydazzle Celebration returns to city center Saturday, December 2nd.
This family-friendly event has something for everyone, including live musicians, choral groups and dancers performing on four different stages. Catch the amazing street performers to include living statues, fire performers, magicians, hoop dancers, holiday characters and stilt walkers!
From 4-8pm, the evening will be filled with fun activities leading up to the spectacular Fountains of Light Show beginning at 7.45pm. Following the fireworks and incredible special effects will be the lighting of the 45 foot tree on the Fountain Plaza.
The children’s area will have holiday crafts, entertainment and free face painting. Twenty food vendors will sell food items ranging from turkey legs to pizza and funnel cakes.

There’s still one more party before the big Holiday! Friday, December 23rd, head down to The Oozlefinch Craft Brewery for their ‘Ugly Sweater Party’. Find the most tacky sweater, sweatshirt or festive vest, and spread some holiday cheer with the cool kids at Oozlefinch! Of course, there will be a contest for the ugliest apparel.
Live music will be provided by Red Stapler Duo along with more fun activities. Stuft Food Truck will be onsite to serve up their delicious burritos, and Sinful Treats will be serving up to satisfy your sweet tooth. Stop by anytime between 1-11pm!

Come by anytime between 10am-4pm to get a growler-fill of your favorite Tradition beer for you or a gift. Purchase a giftcard to finish up your stocking-stuffers. Select any hoodie, hat, long-sleeve tee, tervis, or tumbler. Buy any merchandise and the tasting-room staff will gift wrap your items for you! Wednesday, December 14th, join Good Shot Judy for ‘A Crooner’s Christmas’ at the Kimball Theatre. Everyone had so much fun last year, they decided to bring them back! The band will feature vocalist Brett Cahoon and special guests Jocelyn Oldham, Ashley Wenner and Christina Marshburn.
Good Shot Judy pays tribute to the classic Christmas Crooner hits from artists like Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Ray Charles, Michael Buble and Louis Armstrong. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online. This event is from 7.30-9.30pm.

Saturday, December 10th, search your closet for the tackiest Christmas sweater you own and come out to Tradition Brewing Company! CLUBWAKA is excited to host their Fifth Annual ‘Tacky Sweater party’. Anyone rockin’ a tacky sweater will be allowed access to the Pint Promo.
There will be a DJ, games, contests and prizes. Tradition will remain open until 11pm for the party people. This event begins at 6pm and is free and open to the public. There will also be a charity raffle for a great cause.

December 8-9th, bring your family out to Endview Plantation to experience the magic of an 1861 Christmas. Private family sessions create the perfect setting for seasonal photo opportunities in the historic atmosphere. Craft activities will be offered before the visit with Santa.
Please plan to bring a wrapped gift for your child as well as a non-perishable food item to donate to the local Foodbank. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 757-887-1862. Admission is $5 per child.
