February is quickly approaching and with that, comes Valentine’s Day. What better way to celebrate the upcoming holiday than to welcome back a highly popular beer at Alewerks Brewing Company?
Bitter Valentine will be released at noon on draft and in 16oz cans for the first time ever. This Double IPA has been celebrated since its inception, including being rated the best beer in Virginia. The flavor is exceptionally balanced and smooth with notes of citrus and pine from Pacific Northwest hops.
Saturday’s festivities will also include tapping a very special cask of BBP, blended with Coffeehouse Stout. This beer is very limited, there is only one firkin of the rare blend of two of their most popular beers. Be sure to get there early! This event is Saturday, January 13th from 12-9pm.

This year’s event will offer lawn games, live music and a silent auction featuring items such as restaurant gift cards to Merchants Square and rounds of golf at Kingsmill Resort. This event is from 12-4pm. Admission is $25, non-drinkers are $10.
