“Hop Time” Coming to York County

Just in time for late summer, early Fall, York County will welcome a first of this kind. Derek Ryan wanted to ‘do something different’ and different it is!

Located in the Village Shopping Center, his business will include 30 different beers on tap, cider, a growler-filling station and a gourmet olive oil/balsamic vinegar fusti bar. Guests will be able to sample from the selection of 26 oils and vinegars before buying them. You will find oils infused with an array of different flavors (one even with bacon), and Ryan will have a suggestion card for use of each one.

Customers will be able to bring their own growlers for refills or buy 32-ounce or 64-ounce growlers, and the store will even offer a four pack of 16-ounce growlers. Ryan is looking forward to having beer tastings as well. This very creative 36-year-old has been in the restaurant industry since he was a teenager, mostly working at Busch Gardens. This tyep of shop will be the first of its kind in Hampton Roads.
