“Star-Gazing and Lasers” at VLM

Well this is definitely something cool and different for the family! The Virginia Living Museum now offers free star-gazing starting Saturday, September 10th beginning at sunset and on the second Saturday of every month. Of course, star-gazing is entirely dependent on the weather so keep an eye on it. Several telescopes are set up throughout the grounds and staff astronomers are available to help you identify objects in the night sky.

The event also includes a planetarium program and several laser shows in the Abbitt Planetarium theater. Experience a sensory extravaganza with the incredible state of the art laser system while listening to music of all different types.

Cost is $3 for VLM members and $6 for non-members. Double features are $5 for VLM members and $10 for non-members
