A wide array of artists’ booths will line Styron Square this weekend in Port Warwick. The Art & Sculpture Festival returns October 14-15th with fine arts, live entertainment, food, beer and wine.
The festival will feature 100 artists, a fabulous lineup of eclectic music each day and a tent for young collectors. Enjoy strolling the square stocked with world-class fine art, gourmet food vendors and family friendly activities.
Don’t forget to visit the local chic boutiques, award winning restaurants and other unique businesses in the Square. Saturday hours are from 10-6pm and Sunday from 10-5pm.

This hidden gem definitely lives up to it’s business name. One of Port Warwick’s most recent additions, Hip + Innovative Studio Boutique is sure to have something for everyone.
Anna Hubbard is the beauty and the brains behind this wonderful idea. The studio offers workshops by local artists in metals/jewelry (texturizing, stamping, cold connections, coloring in metal), Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan, Fiber Arts (weaving, macrame, felting), Floral Design and more! Hip is the home for the Anna Hubbard Jewelry collection, as well as a wide selection of fine, handcrafted artisan products.
Original art and prints, stunning jewelry, scarves and bags line the walls throughout. I was most intrigued with the prominent passion that Anna has for art and her store. It was a great pleasure to visit and learn all about it.

More fantastic news for the town of Phoebus! The owners and creative masterminds behind the perfect taco plan to open a restaurant this coming Fall. With the building located beside Victorian Station in Phoebus at 24 N. Mallory Street, this will be their first restaurant venture. The partners plan to completely renovate the 5,000 square-foot building adding multiple windows, an indoor raised stage, a retail space and an inside/outside patio featuring roll-up windows.
Due to the continuous success of Stuft, Not Your Average Street Food, the Haas’ brothers decided the time was right to expand. Casey, 33 and Alex, 29 will team up with close friend Moriah DeVito, the general manager at The Point at Phoebus to ensure a successful, long-term endeavor.
Although we have seen a recent increase in popularity of the food truck trend, Stuft has been around (and a locals’ favorite) since 2011, offering from-scratch Mexican inspired food and great customer service. Not only is the experience about the perfect taco, it’s about the big, bright smiles you can always guarantee from Casey and Alex.
Customers will still be able to get the always popular tacos, burritos, quesadillas and rice bowls. Guests can also look forward to new items on the menu such as pork rind encrusted chicken thighs on a waffled glazed donut, crazy egg rolls and deep fried bacon-wrapped hot dogs.
The restaurant will have a full bar with 12 taps, liquor and wine. If you’re a fan of the taco truck, don’t fret. Stuft, Not Your Average Street Food will still be out and about serving up their delicious signature items.

More big news for the city of Hampton! The town of Phoebus is excited to welcome Hampton Roads’ first hard cidery. Two brothers with deep roots in the community plan to invest more than half a million dollars to open the cidery.
Tim and Doug Smith will launch Sly Clyde Ciderworks on 1.3 acres of family-owned property with plans to turn the two-story historic house next to the closed Smith Floragift building into a tasting room. There will also be a small apple orchard on the property.
The new establishment will create seven new jobs and purchase all of its apples from Virginia farmers. Sly Clyde Ciderworks plans to distribute their cider to restaurants throughout the region. The brothers are optimistic for a November opening.
