Celebrate Halloween in Hampton at the 2nd Annual ‘BOOzlefest’ at Oozlefinch Craft Brewery.

Friday, October 27th, start Halloween weekend off right with live music, great beer and food trucks! Grab your friends, dress in your best costume and come ready to party. Enjoy music by Nathan Lienard starting at 7pm. There will be costume contests for best male, best female and best couple.

Peninsula Food Truck and Sinful Treats food trucks will be on site for your dining pleasure. Oozlefinch will also have something fun for the little goblins and ghouls. The festivities begin at 6pm.

“Greek Festival” in Newport News

The Greek Festival in Newport News is upon us! The always popular event returns Thursday, October 19-Saturday, October 21.

Grab your dancing shoes and prepare to enjoy live music, entertainment and Greek culture. Shop vendors and indulge in authentic Greek food and wine. Enjoy an array of homemade Greek specialties such as gyros, Greek fries, dolmades, spanakopita, and ouzo. This year will mark the event’s 50th Anniversary.

“Poquoson Seafood Festival” October 20-22

The weekend of October 20-22nd, the city of Poquoson will celebrate the 37th Anniversary of the Poquoson Seafood Festival.

This event will have something for everyone. Shop over 160 arts and craft vendors, enjoy fresh seafood and catch live entertainment on multiple stages.

The children’s area will feature a petting zoo, magician and a puppet show. Dance the night away with Slapnation, The River Gypsies, Bad Ace and Soul Patch. Entry to this event free, parking is $5.

“Haunted Boo-ery” at Tradition Brewing Co.

Get ready to rock with the Deloreans at the biggest Halloween party on the Peninsula! Celebrate the holiday with seasonal craft beer and a great crowd at Tradition Brewing Company.

Saturday, October 28th, the brewery will be completely transformed into a spooky spectacular spectacle. There will be costume contests throughout the evening for Best Male and Female, Best Couple and Best Group.

“City Center Oyster Roast” in Newport News

Newport News Parks, Recreation & Tourism will partner with Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate to present The City Center Oyster Roast. This event will take place Friday, October 20th from 6-9pm.

You’ll enjoy live music, great food, a variety of beverages and other fun activities. Harpoon Larry’s will provide raw and roasted oysters along with other signature favorites. Additional food vendors include Capt’n Crabby, Pennsylvania Dutch Funnel Cake of Virginia, Couture Cakes By Nika and Mama Neem’s Mobile Seafood. Beer, wine and bourbon sales will benefit the Warwick Ruritan Club.

“Halloween Bash” at Yankee Candle Village

“Art & Sculpture Festival” in Port Warwick

A wide array of artists’ booths will line Styron Square this weekend in Port Warwick. The Art & Sculpture Festival returns October 14-15th with fine arts, live entertainment, food, beer and wine.

“5th Annual Oyster Bash” at The Mariners’ Museum

The Rotary Club of Oyster Point will host the 5th Annual Oyster Bash Friday, October 27th at The Mariners’ Museum Park. This year’s Oyster Bash will feature amazing food, live entertainment, adult beverages and spectacular desserts.

Enjoy fresh, raw, roasted and fried oysters from Crab Shack on the James. Other dining options include pulled pork, chicken BBQ and Brunswick stew.

Tradition Brewing Company will provide craft beer and there will be wine onsite as well. The main event is from 6.30-10pm, VIP hour is 5.30-6.30pm.
